Second largest mostly francophone city in the world after Paris with a population over 1.5 million people, Montreal is the second largest city in Canada. It is culturally diverse: while 66.5 % of its population report French as being their first language, it is followed by English as a distant second (13.2 %), with the rest being allophones, meaning people whose mother tongue is neither French or English. Among those, Italian and Arabic-speaking persons are the largest groups.
In addition to be very rich culturally, its economy is very diverse. Montreal is home to major aerospace, software engineering, telecommunications, pharmaceutical and transportation companies. The Port of Montreal is the world’s largest inland port.
Montreal is one of the places to be for any language services company such as Express International Translations Inc. We offer in Montreal a wide range of specialized language services including translations in any language combination and all variants of interpretation (sign language, simultaneous interpretation, consecutive interpretation). Express International Translations, liked elsewhere in Canada, is the way to go. |
